vortech supercharger

i have a 2002 trans am ws6...with heads and cam....i would like to put a vorteck charger on it...in the future....is this a good kit ...is it worth the money...and also will i have to cut the hood..any to fit it..

you wont have to cut with the WS6 hood. If you compression is stock with the heads than you are ok. If you are running higher compression you are out of luck...

well i am running are stage 1 heads and cam package...tat wouldent change the compression would it...everything else is stock...

Depends if they milled the heads for it or not <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

My old setup was a vortech at 7 psi with MMS H/C and bolt ons, LT's, 3" borla, LS6 intake and MMS throttle body and more. I made 552 rwhp. I had no real problems, just rear end and tranny of course. I had to cut my SS hood.
