Default rebuilding your pump.101

no really. i thought someone could use these numbers. c.v racing has the rebuild kits for the tilton, #40-912 for the viton diaphram w/nylon pistons,... # 40-915 , viton pump check valve. both are around 30.00 a kit, and tilton says that they will last about 1000 to 1500 hours of use. now c.v. racing has a walbron pump vane type i have bought and going to try out, will give updates later, pump number is 9200.there's just one bad thing, it's expensive. 445.41. hope this help's , leona <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

Never heard of walbron pump, should that have been walbro. Do you have a link to there webpage or c.v racing. Phone number would work and part number also.

Thanks

Gary

Thanks thats the same weldon pump I was looking at. Yes its expensive, but you know they make some of the best regulators and fuel pumps, etc.

I just rebuilt mine last week. I never took the thing completely apart before.

What a nice robust design for the motor, and the eccentric drive parts, and what a wimpy design for the stuff that seals and moves the fluid.

Actaully the tilton is pretty robust. Only one part to break, the diaphragm and its cheap at $10. I dont think it quite lasts 1000 hours though, of course this is mostly due to the way Incon has it plumbed. As soon as I get my compressor housings from Incon (if ever) I will let everyone now how my oil system turns out for reliability. So far my oil system is totally different than how Incon is doing it.
