exhaust question/opinions

exhaust question/opinions my truck has to be flowing some prety large amounts of air by now(6.0 and whipple) and i have some good long tube headers ordered. i still have the completle original 5.3 exhaust.
i am wondering how much the headers and some good exhaust is going to help me? will there be a huge increase or just the normal, what 20-30hp, increase?
also after i swaped in the 5.3 for a 6.0 my boost droped from 6.5psi down to 3psi, i will probably pully that boost back up to 6psi or so before i get to put the headers and exhaust on, any guess on how much the boost will go down?

Re: exhaust question/opinions I cant answer all the ?s on a blown engine, but my headers were worth 20 / 20 when I was N/A. I have the stock pulley on, with headers and a borla 3" mufler, I still tip over 7 psi, so you may not lose much boost at all with an exhaust.
