With the bigger injectors, it seems I dont need the boost a pump anymore. I might as well sell it if anyone is interested. I would trade some car stuff for it too. It is the hd version that can run 2 fuel pumps....adjustable voltage controller....from in car and has a hobbs switch that kicks the voltage up at 3.5 psi. You can bypass the swith if you like to have boost pump voltage all the time or hook it up to a WOT switch for spray. Mightymouse was looking for one but lemme know if anyone is interested

Ok...here is my explanation...hopefully Harlan will jump in here. I intend to be happy with around 550rwhp. My 50# injectors are more than enuff to support that at 50psi fp. I BELIEVE that inreased fuel pressure means reduced volume. So at a lower fp my walbro 340 should be ok with pushing a 50psi static fp. That's why i asked if anyone was interested. In the next few days, I may find out I need the B-A-P but I don't think I will. Nothing sneaky...just don't think I'm going to make too much power.

Cablebandit, is that a CAS rising rate regulator for the LS1 or have you made something custom. I am putting a 6 lb powerdyne on over the 4th and I am still undecided on the total fuel system (except for NOT using the FMU). I have a Walbro 340 with a hotwire going in next week, but I am not sure past that. The option I am looking at right now is a 97 vette rail and regulator with a return line (per y2khawk). Have you found a short cut around this that gets the same result? I am very interested if you did.
Thanks for the info.

I need to know your other mods but if your putting the powerdyne on an otherwise stock vehicle your fuel pump along with 36# injectors and tuning will do you just fine.
I am currently running the stock fp with an inline, 36# injectors and tuning via ls1-edit.
This setup is working just fine. I have to think your bigger walbro is everybit as good as my stocker with the inline so as long as you have enough injector and proper tuning you will be fine.
If you have other mods and plan on seeing alot more than 400rwhp then my answer would be different.
Feel free to email me with any powerdyne questions. I know this sucker inside and out by now

Thanks for the info. My past experience with boost (GN) has me geared towards referenced regulators. What you are saying makes perfect sense, though. I am trying to keep it as simple as possible - and not messing with the regulator would definitely make it more simple.
My current plans have me installing the thing around the 4th of July. So Depending on how I tune it (or get it tuned) I will definitely be in touch. I am currently undecided on injectors (mostly because I am looking for a good deal). I would be thrilled to get close to 400 and that's all I am shooting for right now (translation: this week).
Thanks again for the info and offer of help.
