Last I heard, the complete kit was around $5700 or $5800, I believe. (If you want the better flowing compressor, the D-1SC). That would include the ATI kit, 420 LPH inline Aeromotive fuel pump, larger injectors to match your setup, misc hardware and Programming.

Call them at 303-346-5232 to get the latest info on price.

With that compression is the car making it's best #'s on 100 or 104 gas?

Is it possible to tune a 10.2:1 car to run 9-12 lbs on pump gas?

At this altitude we are generating 8.5 PSI of boost. At sea level this same combination would generate 10 PSI. That was the boost in Tulsa when the car was originally tuned at Ed Wright's shop.

I dynoed at 433 on my stock motor with your "stage 3" kit. Why didnt I see 542 like you guys were posting? Im sure part of it was your tuning, that was "perfect" from what I was told. I was running around 9:1 air fuel ratio. My car wouldnt start in the morning because it would flood. I had to crank it for a good minute or so, then plug my nose because of the raw fuel smell. Anyways... on a scale of 1 to 10 ... 10 being the best.. I rate my GWP experience a 3. Im glad you responded to my post in under 10 weeks, maybe you should take that approach to your kits.

Dang, Tim! Is your stuff REALLY running that poorly? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

I was surprised to see you post earlier skepticism about the kit, and could tell something was up.

Did you do something else to get it tuned right? Or, are you still living with the situation while you figure out what you want to do, next?

It's hard to imagine GWP or Superchips wouldn't give you a re-tune.
When my first tune was pig-rich with the 5 PSI, they did a re-tune for free ( I just paid to send it to them... a few bucks).

They sent it back and my car immediately ran better.
I sent Microtuner back to Superchips with a couple Autotap logs and a dyno sheet with the A/F ratio on it. They even let me chat witht he technician that was going to retune. He was very pleasant and discussed/explained what he was going to work with to correct.

That tune, of course, ended up being too rich for me when I swapped to larger injectors, smaller pulley and changed to MAC headers/Y-pipe w/cats.

I know GWP has been frustrated with Superchips and stopped using them. But, it seems Superchips would staighten out your tune for you if you sent the information I talked about.

If you have added stuff, they may ask for the $150 fee or whatever it is they charge get a re-tune. But it would be worth it. It sounds like, with what you have, you COULD be close to 500 RWHP! (They might cut that price for you though, since they would also be correcting a previous tune.)

What size injectors are you running?

Im running a totally different setup now. They did do a reprogram for free, but by the time I got it I cracked my block (not gwps fault). My first programming was setup for 36# injectors, but the injectors I got were 42s, so thats why i was running so rich. I ended up going through superchips directly to get that squared away. IM running much better now, but thats because I have went through a lot of trouble to get things setup for myself. They are totally inconsistant, and I can't rely on them for anything. I feel like I have a totally custom setup, because if something breaks now I have to find individual peices instead of calling a manufacturer and get a new part. Oh well, I just dont like hearing about how perfect they are when most of the people I know that have gone through them have similar stories.

Well, I'm glad you have it running to your satisfaction now and it sounds like at least you have intimate knowledge of your setup.
