Default max boost 15psi but at what compression?

I have seen it thrown around that 15psi is the most boost we can run due to heads warping between the studs. My question is what compression ratio is this 15psi based off of? If it's the stock 10.1 to 1 then we can go up to 17 or so on a 8.5:1 motor

Robs 15 lbs. was on this engine i believe

375c.i. iron block Agostino Racing built LS1 engine. Stock crank, Lunati Pro-Billet Rods, Ross custom "turbo" 8.5:1 forged pistons, custom main studs, ARP Head studs, O-ringed block,

it would be nice to get 20+ lbs on our ls1's

put some good gas in it and crank up the boost and see next motor turn it back 1# boost.

rob told me over the phone while talking about the new kit that it was not the 15 pouds of boost.. it was the tuning and the sheer hp level that was doing it.

heck i ran 16psi 'once' on my old kit on an all stock motor.. i wasnt making big hp cus i was detonating.. but i didnt warp the heads, just brok a ring

As soon as i get my downpipe/crossover opened up, I'm going up on the boost. I'm at a air flow stall at this point.

I need more intake but mainly I need more exhaust flow. A 2.5" downpipe is too small....even for a turbo 6 cylinder. Turbotech could really do something with this kit if they would fix the exhaust sizing.
