ATI 5psi kit on a 98 Z
ATI 5psi kit on a 98 Z Why wont the ATI Kit work on a 98 LS1? it says it will only work on 99-02. does anybody have an ATI on a 98 and what did you haft to go though to make it work right?

Re: ATI 5psi kit on a 98 Z I heard that is because when they developed the kit, they put it on a model later than the 1998, which had slightly larger injectors and a couple other fueling differences. I think some people have bought it anyway and dealt with the tuning issues in other ways. But ATI would not stand behind that.
What you COULD do is buy just their tuner version (minus the fueling system) and get Golden West Performance (303-346-5232) to build it up to a Stage II.
I run a Stage II at 10 PSI and get what you see in my sig.
At 5 PSI and a first tune, I ran
1.72 60'
4.93 330'
7.63 1/8 ET
91.00 1/8 MPH
11.92 1/4 ET
115.32 1/4 MPH
And your Corvette starts out being a faster vehicle than mine, so you should do even better!
