mine hasnt run in 2 months or so now...
i'm gonna run my luck with heads/big ol cam/ healthy shot of juice on a forged motor for now, but..........
im still tempted...
any luck on getting your beast back together?
What i have come to the conclusion is ya gotta leave the line really hard on the boost to get the car to move out. I have tried the high rpm dumps when i had a manual and it just didnt work like building boost then leaving (I run a 383 had a single turbo now went twins and auto) Ran a t-72 when i ran a single turbo, and it was more than enough imo. What i came to the conclusion is the turbo tech system just plain and simple can not flow the air for what most want it to do. For a stock motor it is good but above that you start getting into alot of issues(restrictions in the inlet air, restrictions in the exhaust etc...Wastegate not being large enough in the base case)
Just curious but. Why dont you guys go to aftermarket computer systems? I read alot of your posts and havent seen anybody using one. Tuning would be alot easier i would amagin and the cost is not that high really when you start looking at rebuilds etc..
Cant wait to read some of your times when everything comes together for the ls1's Should be some smokin times.
