Default Compressor Map for ATI Procharger?

Does anyone have anything? Everytime I ask ATI, they send me brochures. That doesn't help me. Any one know? I just want to figure out how it performs with the LS1. I am concerned about where boost starts to build and where it peaks.

Most guys are saying they see significant boost around 3000 to 3500. I have a SY3500, so it revs so quickly that, with my 3.20" pulley and 42# injectors, I see an instantaneous 8 PSI, gradually rising to 10 PSI as it gets to > 6000 RPMS. I've had it to 6600.

Before my headers, I saw 12 PSI.

Before headers, with the 4.10" pulley and 36# injectors, I saw 5 PSI up to about 6000, peaking at 7 PSI around 6300-6400 RPMs.

I'm at Sea Level.

Hope that helps some.

How about any M6 guys that own the Procharger? From a idling roll punching to WOT how does your boost curve look? Also include any other mods to the engine and drivetrain. If it builds low end torque really well, then I will lean to the Procharger instead of the turbo just because of the "bolt-on" feature.

I can tell you, unless you have a small pulley like the 3.20", boost will start too low to have the torque reminiscent of a comparably powerful Turbo.

But, too much lowend torque is gonna make your 60' suffer. I LIKE the RPM dependent power/torque of the Supercharger.

Of course, with my 422, I'll have both worlds. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Get Taxman (Gary) to post his dyno for you. He dyno'd 510.8 RWHP / 477.7 RWTQ! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

He's an M6.

I did this with the 3.4 pulley and the D1 charger. My Mods are at this link http://www.gdjenkins.com/mods.htm

Here is the dyno graph that Mike mentioned....

you can see my boost come up on the launch in this scan file

and you can have the fat torque curves in my sig <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Hey Harlan, do you have a dyno chart?

Nevermind. Can a D-1SC be overdriven with the 3.20 pulley and use a wastegate from HKS to control the boost at a safe level. Maybe get a simillar torque output like the turbo? I like the 600+ lbs of torque at the wheels.

In my Inlet Restrictor experiment to use pump gas around town, I get an instantaneous 6 PSI that does not move any higher.

If you go to my site, www.BlackLs1TA.com and hit the "Tech" section, I have a link discussing my experiment:

5. Swapping from 6 PSI to 10 PSI in 5 minutes or Vice-Versa

I'm not suggesting that's the way to go, but it might make interesting readin.

I think a number of people have said venting SC boost to decrease it is super-inefficient. Maybe some of the masters want to re-discuss the issue.

If use a wastegate and bleed the air back into the inlet of the SC, it should be alright.

i know that a lot of the big pro 5.0 guys with the huge turbo use hks wastegates on the pressure side and control it with solenoids to effectively bleed off boost to leave the line, bring it back in, etc etc
