I'm not comparing the kits, just pointing out that they have tubular mainfolds and keep accesories. There is no doubt that $4300 for a complete kit made of 321 is a BADASS deal!!! If I were in the market for a kit right now, this one would be impossible to pass up.

Believe me I've had thoughts of really pissing off the Mrs. and grabbing one, but that would make it my 5th turbo kit and I'd really like to stay married.

Dave

I do plan on making my own manifolds because I would like to keep the AC if possible. So just keep researching and learn what you can.
you didnt upset me just trying to make sure you know how much things cost.
people dont realize the expenses that come. most people just price out a few bends (or estimate it without looking on how much it costs) a few componets, and think, wow its cheap if i do it my self, heck i thought that once to, i learned my leason.

MP70 $850 (with .96ar)
wastegate $250
BOV $250
oxb IC $270
aluminum IC pipes $150
couplers $150
clamps $100
mild steel tubing $400
Vbands and flanges $300
coating mild steel $500
welder $500

=$3720
now double that figure $7440

not so cheap now

I personally like doing everything myself, but if you have not done something like this before then I would have to recommend getting the Hi-Flo kit. For the quality you get with them it would cost much more to have everything tig welded very nicely like that. Of course if you are going to go with the truck manifolds then I would say go ahead and do it. You can make the other hot parts in stainless and tig them up and you wouldnt really see the welds that much. Here is where i got my bends in the 2.5 and 3" pipes.

A couple of those and your set.

And here is a good place to get the other little things you will need.

Hope it helps!

Thanks for the links man. I really dont want to use 304 stainless though. I am pretty much set on the mild steel for ease of welding, and the price for the hot parts. I really hardly use the A/C, so I dont care about ditching it and going wtih the truck manifolds. Do most guys go with aluminum or aluminized steel for the charge pipes? I figured it would cost me 6000-7000 to have the car running and hopefully making 500-500 at the wheels. I have a good clutch, a built tranny, new hydraulics, and good suspension.

Well have to keep in touch and see how things are going for eachother, if either of us finds any deals, etc. Do you have AIM, or MSN messenger?

id use aluminum for the weight savings, but alot have used alumized steel for cost and ease of welding.
