Burned up turbo Help??????

I burned up my turbo and it had to be rebuilt. They said when they got it apart that it was damaged by dirt.I'm guessing in the oil from what he said. Does anyone know how I can clean the oil from my motor and make sure its all cleaned out before I put it back on? Also I have the TTI 76MM street kit. Also has anyone came up with a way to filter the oil where it doesn't happen again? Any pics and info would help. I know you guys are smart out there so please help.

Hmm sounds awfully weird. Was it dirt or metal shavings?? If it is dirt, then are you running the turbo without a filter on the inlet??

You can run a remote oil filter, pretty easy with a kit if you can find the room to mount it. Did you have debris in the oil or was it just dirty from wear? If just worn oil can burn up a turbo we are all screwed. Are you running a restrictor of any kind?

have you recently installed the kit? perhaps it was a shaving from taping the oil pan if you did it on the car? I flushed my oil twice before ever running my car after the instal.
