Another cam question. In about three months I will purchase a Vortech supercharger and i was wondering what would be a decent cam? I want it to idle good with out programing. Would a Z06 cam be the right way to go. I have already have a comp 212/218lsa114, but I am afraid that this with the supercharger will put to much pressure on the bottom end. This will go on a 5.3 with stock internals.

Re: Another cam question. Keep the A/F and Timing tubed right (No KR) of course. I'd run the bottom end as stock and upgrade it only if/when it blows up.
I'd do the timing chain, etc. Watch the springs, normal stuff. TR6 plugs.
