i have the turbo technologies single t-60 on my 99 SS M6. 2 weeks ago i was running 9lbs of boost at the strip adn wasn't having any problems. all of a sudden it started blowing off the rubber elbow that connects the MAF to the throttlebody. i took it off and cleaned the rubber and metal on both ends with carb cleaner and used some belt dressing on the elbow to try and soften it up. i also went to a truck parts store and got some really srong hose clamps and tightened them down really good. i have lowered my boost all the way down to 3lbs and it still blows off everytime i shift gears. is my blow off valve not working correctly? i can hear it realeasing pressure but maybe now quick enough..? how can i check this or what else could be causing this. thanks in advance <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

If it was clean and dry with that boost level it should be staying on there. Another option for you could be to make the elbow out of metal and strap it so it can not push off. I am installing these with my new turbo system and physically bolting all piping together then seal with small section of rubber, with clamps over as well.
You could possibly roughen up the metal area so it has a grippier surface to grab a hold of.

sounds like maybe you have ablock in your bov air lines or rust.. either way that is a common problem because the turbotech supplied bov is junk.
my elbow did the same thing, just check it every run. ( i had 2 clamps on mine.

i got the clamps that are about twice as wide as a regular hose clamp and it has a spring and a nylock 7/16 to tighten it up. maybe i am not gettting it tight enough, but i don't want it to bend the tb or maf.
whats weird is that all of the other tubing is held on with regular clamps and i am not having a problem with them. it is just in this one spot.....?

i have heard that a guy from turbotech actually tig welded a bead of aluminum around the tb lip to clamp behind, so that it would stop popping off. the problem is the material i guess.
about the bov, just make a rubbing of the bov mount on the pipe and compare it to what is offered aftermarket... it should be pretty standard.
