Vortech Supercharger installation I just bought a Vortech Supercharger kit for my 2002 Z28. I'm looking for someone to do the installation for me but I don't know who to go to. I live in Northeast Ohio and am willing to drive. Has anyone done this install and if so would you be willing to do another for a fee? Or does anyone know of a good garage? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Vortech Supercharger installation What kept you away from the ATI kit? MUCH cleaner install, and all around better kit, IMO. The Vortech kit is waaaay to complicated, and clutters the engine bay too much.

Re: Vortech Supercharger installation Well, I live near Summit Racing headquarters and I bought the supercharger through them. One of the techs there talked me into it and I got a pretty decent price.
Re: Vortech Supercharger installation I am quite a drive from you but I would be willing to help you out. I haven't installed any superchargers but I have done heads and cams.
I have friend that would be willing to help also who works on a Viper race team and has extensive experience working on Porches.

Re: Vortech Supercharger installation 02ZSLP- glad to see another northern ohio member doing mods. If you are interested in joining a car club. We are Scorpion Racing, located in northeast Ohio(Mentor, Ohio area). We meet up at Annibelles Dinner located off of Tyler Blvd. in Mentor on friday/saturday nights and go out to drag strips and do have members that autox and participate in car shows too. For your install, unfortunately we don't have many shops but check here: www.nu-tekmotorsports.com/ , they are located in Ohio.

Re: Vortech Supercharger installation It is not that hard you can do it in a weekend (friday-sunday) with someone to help you and helps to have a lift and basic tools there have been lots of people on here doing it themselves.

Re: Vortech Supercharger installation Hey, thanks a lot for the help guys. 99mongoose, I'm very interested in the car club idea. I live in Youngstown, probably about an hour away. I'm still new to the car mod world but I want to have a competitive car by the time I'm done modding (if that ever happens).
