Lingenfelter 1,000 RWHP C6 - video inside!

That video reminds me of a horror movie. The first half of it is very suspenseful and then all of sudden that damm C6 attacks the dyno! LOL Very impressive. Good luck hooking it up on the street.

That's VERY IMPRESSIVE! I doubt LPE will give out any info on this car as you need Level 5 clearance form the NSA to know that!
They usually keep pretty tight lipped on their stuff, especially the big projects like this.

Although, I am surprised they did not include a dyno sheet to back their claim.

I dont think he was insinuating that they were liying, its just usually there too stand up not to post some proof.
if they really wanted to lie about it, **** there other c5 and c6 vettes have been making that kind of power in the top of the line versions, so they could just dig up one and have almost any number they wanted

I dont think it would, I havent seen the video yet (I'm "working" right now ) but I would thing that no matter there you placed the car the reading would be the same. the radius is the same no matter where you position either...

You typically get less wheel spin when the tires are placed back from the top of the rollers.
BTW, I wasn't saying LPE was lying about the numbers, just that I was surprised they didn't give ANY info... not even a dyno sheet.

Thanks for all of the comments guys, we do have a low boost(12psi - 800+ RWHP) and a high boost (22PSI- 1000+ RWHP) posted on the website, just below the video link.
We placed the car far back on the rollers in an attempt to keep traction on the roller( didn't work) If you look closely, we have a 3rd strap on the rear that goes under a roller, and straight up to the differential, so it pulls the rear straight down, and this thing still hazed the tires on the rollers!!!! We estimate that we are giving up at least another 100RWHP with the wheel spin, since this thing made well over 1300HP on our engine dyno
I will answer all of your questions tomorrow regarding the setup, it's Sunday, and I'm busy watching the NASCAR race ( what the hell does Dale JR have to do to get a break???)
Thanks,
Ed
