The car has been delivered to the owner, and he is currently getting used to driving the car with the newfound power!

He intends to get some track times on the car, and it will probably be featured in a magazine at some point, but I don't really know when.

As for some of the comments regarding cost, it is very expensive to take a brand new model vehicle, and modify it beyond the expectations of the engineers who designed it. Obviously, this combination is not for everybody, but it is a good example of what the latest GM engines and electronics are capable of.

What turbos are used on the base 725 hp TT setup (the $45,000 one)?

Our standard 427TT uses a GT-28R which is a Garrett hybrid.

Hope this helps,
Ed

Is it possible to use, say GT-30R turbos, and not require frame modifications? Thus allowing a little more rwhp to be obtained with and without a variable boost controller and not having to cut into and have extenisive fabrication done to the frame? (on a C5)

Hay Ed,
The car is outstanding, did you lower the boost for the owner for around town driving or is he running 1000 on the street.
I saw another 1000 hp vett turn it down to 750rw and his track times got better because he could almost get traction.
I can’t wait to see you do a C6 zo6 TT.
That's what I'm ganna order when I hit the big one, and what the hell throw one in for yourself, my treat.
Thanks, Stew.
-o- Are those turbos similar to the gt37r's on my incon kit.
If they are; I aint doing them any justice yet.
Also I'd like to know because I was wondering how they handle larger displacement motors. (iron 402’s are getting more affordable)

I wouldn't have a problem giving up a kidney and half of my liver for that setup!

Though 1300 hp won't be very usable on the street without awd.

In effect, that's what they've already done...alum block 427 w/dry sump oiling and TT. You'd have to do a forged rotate assy. either way but the new ls7 heads might give some extra hp. JMO

Well... that leaves me out. I already donated one kidney to my oldest brother 3 years ago.
