Hey dirtyZ. What idea do you have cooked up for cooling now? I remember you were talking about all these different fans you were installing. I'm not using my stock fans. If you want them make me an offer because I have no idea what they're worth.

120 MPH air is probably about the most effective fan you're gonna run across those intercoolers.

welcome the the electric fan testing center !!

i hacked up my stock fans while trying to get them to fit, so i cant reuse them now.

i was going to get the dual fans you're talking about , then i realized i was broke

they seem pretty good, the dementions look good, and the flow is impressive.

to mount them properly i belive you have to remove the plastic cover behind the windshield washer res. and the res. too. make sure you seal the fan to the radiator real good ( i used foam pipe insulation, weather striipng works well too).

also make sure your ATI shroud is sealed real well.

the only drawback of this setup i could think of is that the fans might actually restrict flow to the radiator during hiway operation. this could be just me worrying, cause you'd think the fans will come on if the motor warms up on the hiway and the flow is then resumed.

now for the intercooler, i was almost going to install som misters on them that i could turn on when i floor it . then i thought of the water dripping down on the ground and loss of traction. now if i ever upgrade to a single front mount intercooler i might just do it!
as for the "peltier", i have no clue ( except that it might be a french machine that pelts?).

keep us updated on how your set up works.
sorry for making this so long.

1slow, you got mail.

I have a question for ya. Tell me if this is a good idea. In the summit catalog they sell dual 12" flexalite pusher fans which flow 2500cfm (part #FLX-240). Could you mount these on your A/C condensor to aid the whimpy ATI fan? They measure 15.5"x27"x2.25". What are your thoughts on this 1dirtyz?

Also did you ever consider the possibility of using something to cool your intercoolers? Like mini fans or is there maybe something electrical you can hook up that cools things. What is a peltier? Somebody was talking about using one to cool their airbox but I have no idea what it is.
