I saw Kevin go 8.84, not sure if he went quicker than that after I left. They went on to win the quick 16. From what I heard, it was a great race in the finals against the Ohio Boys' yellow car. The Ohio Boys were also in the 8's with the yellow car yesterday. Their black car was there also, but was getting loose on the top end, not sure if they made a fast pass after I left. I didn't get a chance to get a new best with the Mustang, first run was aborted, and the second pass had a fuel pump problem.

We did get the 60' down to a 1.30, where it should be. Pretty sure we made 8 passes, one was aborted for a drifting tires up launch, one was a 9.200 @15X, staged too late to get enough boost up on the brake.
The rest were all in the 8's, anywhere from 8.84 to 8.96. The 60' and 330' were definatley improved, but I think the nasty headwind was killing the top end yesterday. Still picking up 30 MPH on the top end, but that's usually closer to 33 MPH.
There's always next weekend
And props to Turley for keeping it off the wall in the finals
