overDrivenpullies Is there a company that makes smaller pullies out there? id like to increase the boost on my magna, but they offer only 1 pulley, whick @5800rpms makes 7lbs. i figure if i can find a smaller crank pulley I could speed up the over all drive, increasing the boost. i think im going to call whipple to se if the offer a smaller crank pulley. Is there a formula to figure out the potential boost increase from going to a smaller pulley? what size is the one from the vette, or camaro ls1? Who sells ls1edit?

Re: overDrivenpullies it's not exactly a boost equation , but it gives you the blower's impeller(s) revloutions.
impeller speed= (crank pully diameter X max engine rpm X internal step up of blower) / blower pully size.
you could get a pretty good idea of what percentage the boost will increse after installing a pulley.

Re: overDrivenpullies you need either a smaller blower pulley, or larger crank pulley.
ASP can custom make pulleys, so that might be an option for the blower.
you might be able to use a vortech, powerdyne, or paxon pulley, go to a local speed shop, and compare the pulleys.
