Default X-pipe Causes A Lean Condition On Supercharged Vehicles ?

My cousin has an LS1 T/A with a Vortech blower and a Mr Gas X-Pipe well he's been experiencing some problems with the car and the mechanic told him that the X-Pipe was causing it to run lean because the 02 Sensors couldn't get hot enough because of the blower and that he should go back to a Y-Pipe. I've never heard about this or anything similar but could this somehow be true ?

Just because he has an X pipe, doesn't necessarily mean his 02's moved an inch. You have to learn to take some things with a grain of salt.
If people were leaning out, you would DEFINATELY hear it here!
