Well the tropical storm got me.
I turned down a four lane, in the slow lane, I hit the water, about 3-inches, doing about 30-35, slowed when I hit it and tried to get over, but by the time I could get over the engine died. I think the filter just sucked up all the water the wheels through up.
Now, what is the best way to better protect the filter from standing water in the future? I'm thinking of making a shield/guard to place around it, maybe even an under piece to completely block the filter from the ground.
Anyone know of any pieces being made/sold like I listed or anyone with ideas please let me know.
