Just a question to see who knows. I have the Vortech V-9 kit and it has the 3.125 pulley on it. Is this the 6lb pulley or what. I only see about 5.5 at WOT. Can I get a different pulley to help here and what is the next size offered?

ASP has pulley's for that kit. After buying a 2.95,2.85 an finally a 2.75 pulley. I finally went with 2.75 pulley...so I am seeing close to 11 lbs of boost.

Each gives you about 1-2 lbs of boost increase. If you want 7-8, you should go with the 2.85 pulley.
The pulley's are pretty cheap. About 75 bucks each.

Chad, there is someone at the shootout that you may want to talk to. He has talked to Vortech about their V9-G-Trim unit blowing up over 8psi or so of boost.
Also, will they warranty your unit if it blows up on higher levels of boost than stock?
See ya at the shootout!

I have been over spinning the **** out of it. I have the 2.75" pulley and rev limiter at 7100. I'm spinning the blower about 10,000rpms faster than vortech says it can handle. I have been doing it for about a year. I was having a problem with oil in the tubes until I but on the BOV.
Vortech warranty drops from 3 years to 1 year with a different pulley.
