Custom ARP Head Studs will be ready on Friday! As in the previous post here is the info on the head studs. First ARP messed up the first batch by punching the wrong size hex on the end of the studs- blowing them all out and had to start over, then somebody over there dropped the ball and they got delayed, so it's been a real pain in the *** dealing with all of this but the real kicker is out of the following list, only 1 person has sent funds for these, I have to pick them all up at the same time and pay for them so I really need to have the people listed contact me and send the funds so I can get this finished up.
The studs are made of the ARP 2000 material that is rated at 220,000 psi T/S(the stock bolts measured 107,000psi T/S, the ARP's that are available now on the shelf are 190,000psi T/S) after this material step the costs go up dramatically and most people don't need more than the ARP 2000- strength wise. They should hold the heads on better at higher boost / cylinder pressures and I recommend you use Cometic HP head gaskets for best results.
