?? about boost & stock LT1 My situation is this, I have a stock LT1 (97) intake to pan with a 6lb powerdyne setup. The only reason I bought it is funds are limited and it was very reasonable. I was concidering moving to the 9lb pulley along with methanol injection on a progressive controller. Right now I need the car tuned because of the mass air meter throwing on the ses light at 5500. Does anyone have any opinions on what I should do. I don't want to waist the money on a tune if I'm going to have problems down the line with the s/c or motor. Will my motor survive 9lb or should I stick with the 6lb. I was told even the 6lb pulley could grenade my motor, true? Any feedback would be appreciated.
