If I buy an idler from you now, will you deduct that from the price of your 8 rib setup, if I buy an 8 rib from you in the future?
E-mail me your prices for the idler and when you get a solid price for the 8 rib, please e-mail it as well. I just can't afford 500 right now for the 8 rib, when I have other parts that are in need of upgrading first.

My idler looks wide enough to use on an 8-rib, though. Look at the wear pattern in my previous post and you'll see how much more area there is to accomaodate a wider belt.

Mike,
did you get your idler yet?
put a little grease in the bore before you install the bearings so it dosent rust on you. I couldnt paint the bore because of the precision bearing fit.

When I get it, I will be putting it up until my current ilder wearsdown. Should I spray a layer of WD-40 on it and seal it in a ziplock bag, then do the grease thing as you say, when I put it on?
Thanks, man.

Mike,
I would spray a little WD40 in the bore and wrap it back up in the rust proof paper that i packaged it in.
Azzhauler,
I shipped yours out monday and im suprised you dont have it yet.
Have fun with the New ATI kit, Its one big box of goodies! I think the funniest part is the intercooler mounting and getting the bastard drivers side tube in threw the whole by the fuse box. And the manaual is kind of confusing at times but you will figure it out just like all of us have. I wish you the best of luck!

I need to sell the rest of them. If you guys know somebody that needs one I have 3 left and there ready to ship. 2 people didnt come threw with there payment so thats why i have extra. (
these parts were a real bitch to machine (required 8 different cutting tools and a super long program). Im not to sure if i will do them again

What's up with that?
It's really not a big deal... as long as it gets here. But, when it takes too long after you say you shipped, I get worried.

Mike,
You should have your idler by now! I was going to ship it UPS but the guy at the UPS place was an *** to me so i mailed it out instead. That must have been a week and a half ago. If it dosent show up soon let me know. I did put my return address on it so maybe i will get it back.

OK... don't stress over it how soon I get it... as long as I get it. We'll wait some more and see if I get it here or it returns to you... then you can resend.
Thanks for the reply.
Michael

thanks for the great review. the bearings are kind of hard to get it because the fit is very tight. they do slide right in by hand but you need to start them perfectly straight. make sure you but some greese in the bore so they dont rust together.
Thanks for the business
