Guys, I ended up ordering the ATI Procharger. I chose the Tuner Kit 8+, with the D-1SC compressor, and some 42# injectors, with upgraded fuel pump. It looks like I'll manage to have it all installed and fully tuned before Christmas, so I'll let everyone know what my first reactions/initial findings are.

Thanks again for all the input. I did find out that for every person that swears by a Vortech, you'll find one equally passionate about the ATI. So it sounds like neither is a bad choice, they just have their pro's and con's like most any other mod decision. I was extra **** about this one simply because of the costs involved. My nitrous kit was very inexpensive (5177), so that was a no brainer by comparison.

I'll let you all know how it goes...

Yeah... you should feel lucky that you don't have to pay the inflated price we C5 guys have to pay. My choice is ATI but I can't decide between P1SC-1 or D1SC. Trying to figure out what the difference is besides the D1 has a larger impeller and can spin higher RPM. Wondering why ATI makes the P1?

JAS, I was glad to read your post. My idle does surge, and sometimes it barely idles at all. Sounds like it could be your issue #2. But I do like it, just wish I could get it to idle properly in traffic!
