Default Powerdyne 6#

Can anyone tell me anything about the Powerdyne 6#?
Is it good or bad? Easy to install? Any knowledge that you can share?

Default Re: Powerdyne 6#

I used to have one.
I had it on the car for 3yrs and it did very well. BUT if you are serious about modifying your car then set up to a charger that gives you room to grow.
Install is a snap. It does require cutting up the stock fuel lines tho. Plan on redoing the intake routing as powerdynes sucked. Plan on ditching the fans they provide and stepping up to a dual shrouded 10in from FAL or dual 11in from Be Cool(need to trim that one a little bit) did I mention the stock fans need to come out.
Maintence free, don't run slicks as the hit of the tires will snap the internal belt PDQ. I run BFGs and this gave me some insurance but ended up replacing 3 belts anyway. I took it to the track a lot and those launches added up.
I got 428rwhp/461rwtq out of mine on a automatic, I lose some rwhp to the auto tho. Best time was 12.1@119mph at 3600ft(roswell NM) with a crappy 1.90 60ft.
go to www.jeremybazan.com to see some more of my old PD set up.
I have the ATI kit now.
