Is the LS1 REALLY a 347.88??
Now, it also says that each cylinder is 0.708 litres. Multiply by 8, and rather than a 346 we come up with a 5.664L.
Now, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm in the camp that has more cubic inches! 348 rounded off! Mines bigger than your's is!!!

2*Pi*h*r^2 = (2(3.1415)(92mm)(99mm)^2)/(25.4mm/in)^3= 345.72
Bore x Stroke: 3.900" x 3.622"
2*Pi*h*r^2 = 2(3.1415)(3.622)(3.900)^2 = 346.1
Depends on who you believe, but this engine is blueprinted in metric.

According to LS1-Edit, each cylinder contains 43.485ci. Multiply that by 8 and you get 347.88.
