PSI level?
PSI level? Hey guys, I got a question? I have a Ws6 Trans Am. It has Hooker LTs, cats, GMMG catback, cutout, most of the bolt ons, and maybe getting a cam soon (TR 224/224 112LSA). I want to get a supercharger, ATI DSC-1 was what I was looking at. This will be my daily driver, and needs to be reliable. Is there a way I can have a ATI DSC-1 in my car, and it be reliable without breaking anything in the engine (stock motor). If you would keep it at a low PSI Level, would it keep from causing problems? What level of PSI would you recommend for a stock motor, and the mods that i already have? Would this be reliable, and how much horsepower approximately would that much PSI make? Thanks guys, this is a lot to ask and a lot of questions, but I've wanted a supercharger for a long time, and am kinda confused on some of the technical things. I love that whistle-whine that ATI puts off!!! Thanks again guys, I appreciate it!!!

Re: PSI level? Run the 4.10" pulley for about a 100 to 110 RWHP gain on your stock motor.
Unless you go crazy, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> and if you get no more than Nittos for traction, your rearend and tranny may be safe for a while and your motor should be OK as long as you monitor for Fuel Pressure and detonation.
