Supercharger or not?
Supercharger or not? Hey guys! I have a 2001 WS6, and its stock for right now. I'm going to be putting hooker LTs, cutout, GMMG catback, Airlid, and a few other bolt-ons, and maybe a cam. But my question is, would it be a better route to get a supercharger, or get heads and cam? Which would make more power? This will be a daily driver also. I really would like to supercharge it, but I don't want to have a lot of problems occuring, due to having a stock engine and all. Would it cause a lot of problems and hassles? I was looking at the ATI D-1SC. Any opinions on this topic? I appreciate it, thanks guys!
Re: Supercharger or not? most d1 sc'd cars are dynoing higher than most heads.cam cars.
how long it lasts depends on your devotion to the care of the project.
if you can't afford to put time and care in then maybe forced induction isnt for you.
if you want a supercharger, then don't bother on the cam or the lid now, you won't need them later
save up for drivetrain too.
