best place to get tuning...? I am going to be adding the p-1sc kit to my car at 5# of boost by next summer. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I will be adding headers as well shortly after that. I want to get my ls1 tuned for the boost, but where should I get the tuning done? what kind of results have you all had at different places? also, should I wait until after I install the headers to tune it, or should I tune it ASAP after the procharger install?

Re: best place to get tuning...? Id get it tuned as soon as possible after the install for safty sake and youll make a lot more power. can you install the headers about the same time as the charger? then get it tuned?
Try to find a shop near by that uses ls1edit to tune. Maybe some one near the Boston area know a good shop to it.

I would buy the LS1 edit cable for your car its $550.00 But then you have it and you can change anything any time, you dont want to change tunning without a wide band but get the cable and then you hold the power. As for tunning, Newengland dyno and tunning can tune with LS1 edit, They dont have it but they can use it. If you talk to Dean tell him I told you to call. Those guys their are good. Next month Dean will be doing my car for me! MORE BOOST!!!!

Re: best place to get tuning...? The best scenario is to have someone that knows their **** tune your car with LS1-Edit on a Mustang dyno equipped with wideband O2 sensor. I just got my car tuned over the weekend ( on a Dynojet however ) and on a bone-stock block ( not even valve covers have been off ) on 91 octane and 7psi I hit 488rwhp, and on 8psi I hit 531rwhp. That's the best way to get it tuned.

Re: best place to get tuning...? You should get LS1 edit and dyno tune, No one around us has a mustang dyno so a base will have to work. Chevy, Nice #'s who tuned it? How was your Air fuel?Nothing else done to the car? What kit did you use?

they do install really cheap
and their tuning pkg is $550 for ls1 edit w/ free updates
the tuning is done by kevin hagerty aka NoGo on here and he knows his stuff and he also has autotap to use when tuning

Re: best place to get tuning...? thechef: when you say free updates, what do you mean by that? thanks, I will probably be doing my buisness with him there... Wallingford CT is about 1.5 or so hours from me.. would the car be ok driving that far w/o the tuning? or should I tow it ? thanks.

Re: best place to get tuning...? it means they dont charge to make small changes to your computer ie;timing ,idle,remove check engine codes,
also they can pick up your car if needed
