engine reliability @ 5# (ATI intercooled)? note: this was also posted on the FI forum on ls1.com, but posting here for more feedback. thanks.
I am considering adding in the ATI 5# intercooled kit. With this kit, how long has your engine lasted so far? and how long should I expect the stock internals to last before something breaks (babying it on the street most the time and trashing it at the track maybe 1 weekend a month)?
Also, would you recomend upgrading the stock internals at 5#'s of boost (keep in mind $$ is a concern for me, but I also want a reliable engine), and if so, what would you recomend upgrading? and with what parts? thanks.
