Default "Supercharged" emblems and Boost gauge

Folks, I ordered some Supercharged emblems from http://www.clubgpstore.com/itemview.asp?itemid=6

Then I put in an AutoMeter gauge I got from Summit.

They both turned out pretty decent I think. See the pics on the fourth row of thumbnails at my Formula website >>

The whine advertises enough, but you just couldn't beat this stuff for the price and quality.

Thank you - I'm pretty proud of it, and I like hearing I've done a few things right!

Hey dude, yours is the second car I've seen with the gauges in the vent holes. I think that looks awesome and almost like it came with the car. How did you go about getting the vent piece out? How did you mount it? Was it hard?

Thanks,

Rob

Looks great! Man, I really need to trim my hoses so everything sits nice like yours. And I need to get that polished plenum. I like it.

I was thinking about putting these on my truck:

I found them here:

BlueFire - it is tough getting them out without breaking them, but it can be done. There are two hidden latches (catches) inside the vent ring. You have to pull both of them up at once, and then the ring pulls straight out. Thankfully the gauge fits perfectly - you just push it in, and it is tight enough to not come out!

Yukon, that style would look good on a Yukon since you already have raised emblems of the same color. Or at least I think you do?

Azz, a few hours under the hood on a lazy Saturday can really spruce up the look at the ATI. I wasn't crazy about how it looked out of the box, so I started getting polished bits and making it a bit more unique.
