i just relocated the MAF on my car to before the blower (ATI) to cure some drivability issues. well the issues are gone , but the car dies after i give it a wot run??
what could be causing this?? i did the idle relearn procedure but that didn't help any.

At what point is the car cutting out? After WOT > at what point > at a complete stop, or just after you lay into it and release the throttle. What sounds if any does it make? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

it happens after flooring it and letting off (coasting) untill you're at idle. if you floor it and take it out of gear the idle will drop straight to off unless you give it a bit of gas.
it makes no noises , it also seems like the idle is low for a while after doing that.

Have you tried clocking the MAF around? If not, give that a shot. I had some serious idle/shut down issues until I clocked/turned the MAF around and it fixed them. Worth a try.
Also excuse my ignorance but I'm not extremely familiar with your engine, etc but you have an idle air controller, correct? If so, have you tried replacing that? Just some thoughts.
< edit >Another thought I just had was do you possibly have some unmetered air getting in somehow? That is another thing that I'd look into.
Is this only happening from a WOT or just driving down the road, release gas pedal and it will kind of hunt for idle?
Good luck!

the idle air controller is working fine, i checked it to make sure. as for umetered air, i don't think so cause i went through it with a fine tooth comb.
it's funny you mentioned reversing the maf, cause on ls1's that causes it to run richer, which is what i think my problem is. i'll try to lean out the idle and see what happens.

Have you had any codes come up yet? Check eng light come on yet. Those codes could be of some help to you. Might not be a MAF problem. What happens when car is ideling, is it normal? Try and unplug your MAF while car is running and check out A/F mixture > do you have an auto tap or a tech 2?

no codes what so ever. this only happened after i located my maf before the blower.
as soon as i take it back the the "after blower" location this won't happen, but some drivability issues come up.
