Best Sparkplug For Forced Induction? I have been having this hesitation problem at the top of third that still doesnt go away. I am almost 100% conviced its the sprakplugs that Iam using. Iam using the BERU silvertip plugs. They worked great when my car was natuarlly asperated but I guess they dont work too well under boost. I took out the plugs cleaned them and regaped them to about 27. I noticed some improvement but it still giving some hesitation. So Iam giving up on these plugs.
I had this same problem in my previos car which was turbocharged. I purchased a set of splitfires and the second I was on top of a gear getting into high boost the car would start hesitating.
What plugs do you guys recomend?

Re: Best Sparkplug For Forced Induction? How much cooler are they from the stock plugs. I got a recomendations to use my stock AC Delco plugs but to gap them down to .040. Any Comments on this recomendations?

i dont know of anyone that reccomends ac plugs for FI but i would gap any plug to around .035

Re: Best Sparkplug For Forced Induction? I run tr6s have them gapped at 40. I use to have that to till I gaped mine smaller. Maybe your running lean <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

I'm running about 15 lbs total on my 01 L ad I use NGK BR7EFs gapped at .038". For less than that, the NGK TR6s would be fine.
