Default Turbo Kits

Which vendors have turbo kits that can be purchased now? By now I mean if I want a kit Monday it will be shipped Monday. I am looking at possibly buying one, but will not pay and wait for parts to be assembled. I am also NOT interested in any rear mount systems...

Probably your only bet is the STS kit, vendors may keep 1 or 2 in stock.

none. PTK is a huge wait, Hi-Flo is still developing their kit, and GZM doesn't have kits in stock yet, they are still being made as their ordered. Hi-Flo and GZM are both going to be keeping complete kits in stock in the future.

I would check with TTi. I waited a couple of weeks for my X kit, but, it was *well* worth the short wait.

That Gmr turbo is so sexy! And very affordable, I was wondering if you guys would have the boost controllers and turbo timers for them, and would they be hard to install?

I'd try TTi, they may not be in stock but they make them in about a week. You'll never waste time waiting...

Not to mention they have been making thier kits longer than most of the current companies have been in business.

Well to be more correct, its the hot parts from the Raymer kit (made by stainless works), but a new cold side. My biggest complaint is the location of the wastegate. With the TTi kit, the only exhaust flow that goes through the Log is the exhaust driving the turbo. The WG is just after the passenger side manifold.

what exactly don't you like about the wastegate location? I don't see any pics of it on the GMR site and I'm not totally sure what you meant in your post...

In the Raymer/Stainless works kit, it places the WG at the front of the drivers manifold, right next to the Turbo. In this configuration, all of the exhaust flow is forced through the 2.5" log manifold. In the case of the TTi kit, with the WG being between the Passengers side and the Drivers side manifolds, the only exhaust going through the Log manifold is actually used to spin the Turbo.

I don't have a good picture showing how the TTi kit works...

ah I see what your saying...yeah that does kinda suck, GMR any plans for either fixing that or possibly making the log a bit bigger?
