370" turbo motor, what theoretical compression?

370" turbo motor, what theoretical compression? any ideas guys? i'd like to keep the CR as low as possible (larger chamber volumes, and make up the difference in cylinder pressure with boost from the turbo. at what point do i start hurting myself, and what will be affected? does my 'lower is better' theory only work on supercharged motors?

Depends on the application. If you're building something that is going to be a street type car, and not see a lot race gas, I would build something around 8 or 8.5:1. The lower compression will allow you to run more boost, and subsequently make more power.
If you're building something that will see a decent amount of racegas, something like 9 or 9.5:1 would be better.
Most of the 'pump-gas drag' forced induction engines are around 5 and 6:1 to make max HP on 93 Octane.
