Default C5 Vortech S-Trim Video

Not sure how much y'all have been following the new C5 Vortech kits. The pulley and secondary cog system is perfect.

Here is a link to an SQ S-Trim video:

I've been following it a little bit. Have you seen one on a car w/o stock displacement. I'd love to see how they perform; Better than the ATIs and Magnusons I'd bet.

I'd stay away from the G-Trim head unit, but typically the Vortech S-Trim, T-Trim and YS-Trim head units, more specifically the kit, kit quality and pulley setup is of a higher quality/better design.

You tend to have more problems with the bracketry moving at higher TQ levels on the ATI or lots of extra intercooler tubing with the ATI, higher ATI load on the engine with steeper gears. Less belt problems on the Vortech as well, which is huge. The Vortech kits tend to look better also and are better thought out from a cosmetic standpoint.

It's a little different for the F-Body. I'd like to see NO MORE G-Trim kits installed. We've seen some convert to T-Trims, but they can be noisy and not everyone wants that. I'd like to see some F-Bodys convert their kits to V2-SQ S-Trim's like the C5.

I've actually never been a fan of Vortechs on LS1s until their Z06 kit came out just recently. So don't be so quick to call

I like both blowers, don't care for vortechs method of cooling boost though. and I like turbos too.

there are solutions to belt slippage, you dont think vortechs have the same problem?

and yes the magnusson only puts out 5 psi but look at the ET and MPH the test car put out, proof that boost isnt everything, Im sure with a intercooler it would be much faster.
