Default Extending MAF wires

I had to extend my MAF wires to about 30" after my Vortech installation.

Has there been any problem(s) that anyone knows of because of extending the wires??

I can't see where it would, being its just low voltage going through them.

What is the good way and the bad way of extending those wires?

I think the yellow one should be soldered but the other 2 can be put together in any other way because only the yellow one carries a single, the other 2 are just volt and ground!

am I correct?
