Argh. Guess GM did not R&D the F-body for this type of blower? Dammit. Cutting the cowl would not be that big of an issue but loosing the wipers..

If you guys are interested in running a Magnacharger I think you could do it if you lowered the drivetrain about an inch and formed the cowling to conform to the intercooled truck setup.Look at the truck setup at magnacharger.com I think you can even save your wipers.Plus the intercooled will make a lot more power.

the diff is roots type is more low end TQ i.e. why Lightning has this type (well that's why K/B has on for it). It accually has a screw type. Anyway, the cyn. type charger is more for cars, higher HP and TQ in RPMs. u'll see both types on either vehicle, but honestly Roots= trucks (heavy, needs low end TQ) Cyn= cars (mid-high end HP & TQ.

yeah torque is HELLA fun but then u don't have HP. Yes car makers do have cars out (i.e. 03 cobra) that has the screw type BUT the only reason why they did that is because it was aready in their wherehouse, cheaper to build. My buddy on is 02 L puts out 420hp and 530f lb, hell fun. That damn thing pulls so ****** hard, 1.78 60ft on 18" nittos. but he' bitchin cuz u can feel it when the HP kicks in, he needs more cuz of how heavy the truck is and it's like throwing a brick in the wind. Cyntrifical IMO is better for cars.
