Rob,
Is that your base kit numbers there with 50# injectors and base LS1 edit tuning that comes with the kit?
Can you outline everything for me? If the car has heads/cam setup, what compression it is running etc etc...
That torque and HP is crazy considering where you are letting off hehehe!!
Do you have a provision for a cat in your setup?
With my heads (.298 cfm) an emissions legal 222/222 114LSA cam and your turbo with 7#'s on pump gas sounds nice
Thanks!
Chris

It's a bone stocker with the exception of a Borla. The injectors are 37s which have proven to be more than the car needs. The best route is to get your own tune on a Mustang Dyno. It now has 17,000 miles of really abusive driving and it is still holding on to the stock 10-bolt and stock trans, yes with passes on ET Streets to boot. Turbos are comparatively (S/C) easy on the engine and drivetrain, even with that torque.
With good heads you'll be seeing less boost with the same power level than this car, and while your cam is a better choice than the 112 hammercam. Wider LSA and less duration (for less overlap) is the ideal situation.
Snap one up!

its also awesome to see the power range is from 3500 to 5000 rpm's.. no need to spin this to the moon to make power like s/cs and h/c cars.. nice and useable power for the street and strip.
thats probably why the graph doesnt go to 6.. it doesnt need to.
chris, the kit is off road only, but you could put a cat in there if you really wanted to... still wouldnt be legal clean and clear though..
i have a 3" single in and out random tech cat brand new if you are interested.

Personally I wouldn't buy the kit if I didn't see it make HP to AT LEAST 6K. Honestly 6k is nothing.
A narrow RPM width is not what I'd want as an LS1 owner. Even with a turbo.
I say fix the problems and let's see a full dyno run.

AWESOME!
Your 37#'ers may not be enough when you get over RPM's or more. I predict the horsepower will peak out WAY better as RPM's rise. What elevation are you at?
There's a lot in that monster, yet!
Way to go!

You don't need big CI's when you have boost.
I think a forged 9:1 346ci with a mild, stock sounding cam, a monster fuel system, and a turbo is the way to go. I have been wanting to do this for awhile and these results are making it hard to keep the credit card in my wallet.
I am still interested in how hard it is to tune with the stock computer...

Yeah, I guess 600+ lbft of tq for ~1700rpm is way too narrow of a power band! (Not a flame) Honestly, your power band only has to be slightly wider than the rpm drops between gears (on a 6 speed)...an auto can make up for this with STR, incomplete lock-up, etc.
Nice numbers Rob.
As for cam choice, what would you suggest for ideal lift numbers? (If you don't mind sharing). Looks like a pretty nice platform to build off of...might be in my future

Re: LS1 Motorsports Single Turbo Update: DYNO GRAPHS!
So once he upgrades to better valve springs the graph won't drop off? When comparing the 2 graphs it still looks like it drops off even before the valves float? Maybe the T-76 would cure that
