ATI 8# D1SC kit owners This poll is for people that have an ATI D1SC kit that they specifically ordered to be 8#s. Just trying to get an idea of what pulley everyone got, because I think mine is wrong (even though they said it was fine).
Re: ATI 8# D1SC kit owners Make sure to look on the back of the pulley and it will show there. When I first measured mine, it was 4" edge to edge but you have to measure it inside where the ribs are so mine was actually a 3.6.

Re: ATI 8# D1SC kit owners So did yours have 4 stapmed on the pulley? I haven't actually measured mine at the ribs, just going by the number they stamped on it.

Re: ATI 8# D1SC kit owners Your build sheet (or packing slip) should show what pulley they put in it. That's assuming you had it, and also that they put the right one in the box after writing a number on the sheet.
Mine is a 3.6, and it makes exactly 8 pounds of boost on an all-stock engine at 5900 rpm's

Re: ATI 8# D1SC kit owners I am a d1-sc owner but can't help as mine is the 20lb (realy 15lb). and not ls1 car. But I am sure that ATI will fix the problem. They are very good about that gave me 2 pullys and built me a new plate and every gave me a new box a oil. Got to love those guys.

The sheet in the box said 8psi pulley, but on the packing list they scratched out what was there and wrote in 4.00, which is indeed what I have. But it barely eeks out 5 psi at 6k. I thought it was the wrong size to begin with...

Re: ATI 8# D1SC kit owners I'll trade you my 3.6 for your 4.0 pulley. I'm going with the MMS crank pulley and I'm looking for a 4" - 4.1" pulley. That or I will buy it from you.

Re: ATI 8# D1SC kit owners Bigbos, it seems to me that you would need a 3.60 pulley. My D-1SC tuner (8#) came with a 3.6, and it makes exactly 8 pounds at 5,900 rpm on a bone stock engine. I don't see how you will get to 8 pounds with a 4.0 - that would be a trick!

Re: ATI 8# D1SC kit owners I thought you guys might find this funny. I got the 8lb kit as well but mine came with a 3.20" pulley. It said on the parts sheet that it was an 8psi pulley. Before my headers I was getting 12psi now I still see 10psi around 6K.
