Whats the deal with Brice's car too?
It's essentially a PTE-76GTS with some added flavor. I was going to hold out a bit longer with the turbo stuff since I am in the middle of closing on my house but I said **** it why not.

Bryce's car should be running with the new motor in a few days, then it will go back down again for a custom turbo setup. He was one of the unfortunate people who got fucked by APE. His longblock 408 from them lasted less than 1k miles before the cam bolts backed out and it all went to hell.

I heard some many horror stories from HPE as my engine was being built. I was a little confused at first who i should go to (this was last year) but now i know i made the right choice with HPE. Oh BTW Nic my car will be on the road soon (next week or so) and i was wondering if you were up for tuning?

Ain't that the truth!
There's a guy where I work, and he's really into computers.
He said he just got the latest, greatest fastest computer!
We got into a discussion, and I told him he should go for a ride in a 600+rwhp car for a real rush.
He just couldn't understand, said his computer can give him the same thrill!!
I'll never understand that, I guess.

i guess they both have their good and bad.

car ****:

Pro: fun as hell, gets the chicks, win money from racing( if your into that), adrenaline rush.

Cons: sometimes you lose, get speeding/racing tickets, could stall and embarrase yourself, etc...

Computer crap:

Pros: your probably smart to begin with, good for video games, make others look like idiots on line, the person that kicked your *** in HS is prob now working for you.

Cons: you are a dork, you probably have a stupid *** laugh, pocket protector, no physical excercise, the person that kicked your *** in high school that works for you can still kick your ***, etc...

Well, i talked to allan today, seems that hes finishing up the final touches on the setup and getting all the small things finished.

Hes only got about 20 miles or so on the clutch as of now, but he said we should get some dyno results hopefully by friday, then early next week the car should be ready to ship back!!

I cant wait...

gt55 turbo
408 stroker 8.5 CR
3:42 rear gears in strange 12 bolt

Here is some further information I was emailed just 5 minutes ago:

Had to put the graph in speed due the tires spining

This is in RPM,but shows the tire slippage.

I will make some video tomorrow.

Alan here is one of the baseline pulls in 3RD GEAR so far. Trying to be easy
on the clutch ! This is the 2nd full throttle pull on the complete
car\tuning.

12.0 lbs boost 93 octane 13 deg timing 10.8-11.5 A\F for now.

spool up starts about 3600 and full boost by 4100 RPM.

Ok, so keep in mind both these graphs that are in 3RD gear.

The numbers posted are not 100% accurate as the tires are spinning and he has already blown 2 clutches.

The first dyno screen shot is of hp vs. mph

This graph is hp vs. rpm

The last bit of information I was given was that the only 4th gear pull he could do was a pull of 481 rwhp and 611 rwtq at 4100 rpm, then the engine would free rev since the clutch would no longer hold.

If you compare the differences in 3rd/4th gear, thats about 120 rwhp and 150 rwtq difference.

This is the baseline tune with SD 3 bar tune. This is also on stock pcm, meaning no bs3 etc...

haha, ****, with just a starting 300 ft/lbs of tq at 2500 rpm, that will make it much easier for me to hook from a lower speed. then it cranks up at the higher MPH.

Ok, heres a updated dyno chart based off the numbers he told me.

I had to put it in excel to be accurate:

notice the curly q's, that is where the time/space continueum ceases to exist
