Default Cool Air plus Boost=mucho fun!

I saw 11 lbs tonight on my 2-3 shift. This thing pulls like a freight train!

I need new tires BAD! This thing blows the 18's off like I'm on ice!

Can't wait to see how it feels when I pulley down and add more fuel!

O yea it was doing this with a full tank of fuel, lol. I actually feel more comfortable with 2 other passengers in the car.

Anyone else got some cool street stories?

Boost!

Are you running an SD Mafless tune? If so, be carefull not to go lean in the cold weather.

Yo bizatch, you should have gone to OSW tonight. I got there late but there was tons of fast cars. I still have the slipping belt but even on 7lbs from half track on I ran 135mph. I ran Brian with the purple Mustang, I blew the tires off 1.85 60' (spinworld) but Brian ran his best NA run 10.75 and I went by him just after the 1/8 . Your car would have run some good mph tonight also Jeff, you could have run Lou his car ran fairly good .

He is still running with the maf, but he does need to change injectors as his 42s are maxed out( 95% duty cycle).

Lou was running? I need to get his phone number from you.

actually I have 36 lb injectors.

I would love to run a mafless tune but I don't think anyone around here knows how to do that.
I do need to get my car back on the dyno to see where its at, the fuel pressure drops a little which makes me a little uncomfortable.

gator bradenton is too far for me to go on a thurs night, but I know the car has 10's in it now. I just gotta get a nice tire under it.

caveman i called your azz tonight cause I had a feeling you'd be out there. I take it you changed some things around on your setup.

On the street I run 18 x 10 simmons wheels on the rear with 295/35/18 Toyos. (they suck)
I will be getting some 305 Nittos, these tires just give out way too easy now.

I hear ya man! My car is building boost much faster in this weather! And I am doing a pulley swap on Sunday. From my 4.25" pulley to the 3.85" pulley on my D1/Cammed setup! I can't wait to see how it reacts!

I love this weather, I am ripping the tires in the first 3gears with ease... I aonly drive around on regular street tires now. DRs burn up too fast with my long trips every other wknd!

You asked about street stories LOL! Man I quit driving around on anything but and ET cause it would just break the tires loos just driving around normally. I alway felt like it was raining and it wasn't. Have fun, be safe. If you keep haveing the FP drop remember what I metioned to you about the regulator it will work.

which regulator should I get Jeff? I've been thinking about that , and if that works I don't think I'll need a BAP right?

I have 50's waiting to go in. I have a Racetronix pump in there now. That should be ok. I really don't want to spend money on a boost a pump if I don't have to.

The speed Inc. one is an option and the one I bought, but I would recomend one of the Areomotive ones because they will fit in the space a lot better than the Speed Inc.and no waiting for them to ship you the right adapters I am on week two waiting on two little -6 fittings witch I think is bull **** if they sell it they should keep that little stuff on hand and if they would ship the one you ordered in the first place etc... I guess you can tell I am a little upset at the situation sorry for getting off track, but they have some special Eropean thread so if you go Areomotive you will be able to pick fitting up any where localy. I like the Aeromotive 13109 for the rear application that I told you about, the 13101 will work but it comes with -10 fittings that will require more adapters and space they are both Boost referenced. There is a picture of one floating around mounted in the rear like I was talking about so maybe do a little seaching. As far at the BAP not being needed with the regulator I am like you and think that you probably won't need it, but I don't know that for sure.

Well I don't think you are going to get that lucky with the factory T being the right size for the conversion, but it shouldn't break the bank to get it to fit for sure.

Didn't you say you have a buddy with EFILive? get a 2bar map and checkout their custom OS upgrade. real easy to dial in with an O2. That was part of the reason I went to o-town was to get the tune dialed in...

this cold air is GREAT. took my buddy to lunch today and opened it up. I'm getting over a cold and I could feel all the fluid in my sinuses go back in my head. snort!
