Hot cam and turbo
I am sure i would lose some midrange torque... but i LOVE the cam's idle.... and i think if it was retarded, it would work very well with turbo boost... as well as help to regain some midrange torque and give a better topend than the stocker..
Anyone have any input?
Thanks,
-Jarrod
I was wondering the same thing.... cam gurus... can't i just retard my hot cam 4 degrees to move the centerline up to 116?

Unless you're interested in VERY high RPM power (like a Harlan) the Hotcam will just work against you. Will it work? Yup. Is it a "good" choice for a Turbo application? Definitely not.

Don't know if this cam should have advance or retard ground in or if it should have neither. I want a similar cam for my N/A motor only on a 111° LSA and ground 3° advance for a 108° IC.
