Actually we are having a little bit of a problem with the cam sensor. But I'm sure Joey will be able to solve it. AEM sends a totally "blank" computer for this particular applicantion, but they are great to help. I'll get more pictures soon.

this sounds stupid, but what size engine is that? And is it built as a street/stripper, or are you leaning towards a certain class?

The engine is a 406 dart iron eagle block. The car is running now and maybe in the next few days dave will take a short video of it. The car is running a aem universal ems with 160lb injectors and idles at 1000rpm with a extremely nasty cam. the plan is to be a cruise night/ strip car.. That is the reason for the over kill on the radiators.

Nice work. I've never seen a dual radiator like that for a center turbo. Very cool.

I don't see an intercooler, do you have plans to do an air/water IC during track days?

The IC is a air-to-water located just behind the passenger seat. Piping will run through the fire-wall down the center consol. The water cell will be located in the rear beside the fuel cell. Very cool set up. This is all one-off custom set up, done by Joey at Excesive AutoSports.

I got to hear for the 1st time today. Just nasty sounding. Joey will have it totally tuned and dyno'd soon. I promise to have a video to post.

Here is a better picture of the engine bay... its snowing here so no dyno video for a little bit...

PS dont mind the "breather", that was just there to keep the oil off the header til we got the real breather.

Figured it wasw a '93 Cobra, just didn't want to assume. That's a bad sounding setup. I've seen it done a couple of times. The cool factor is way high IMO. You have to get some pics of that up one of these days.

The shop has 3 major turbo projects under way right now (and 2 import completed project cars). Both of the imports made 650+ "front" wheel hp - 1 only made like 5 passes before blowing out the tranny, the other will make its 1st run next spring.

Project 1) is the 67 camaro. Just one bad *** car. The crappy SD winter will prevent its 1st run until spring. Target HP is 1500+ rwhp. The 67 is up and running but still not 100% completed. Full dyno tuning will need to wait until spring.

Project 2) is the 93 Mustang. Will end up as a twin turbo, with air/water intercooler. Should be completed by spring. Will be street/strip. Target is (I believe) 900+ rwhp.

Project 3) is Joey's personal 98 Camaro. 6.0L built iron block, with a 92MM turbo, air/water intercooler. Street mainly with some strip use. Targeted for spring completion. 900+rwhp

Project 4 - mine - will be sidelined due to cost from the BS I went through with my engine this last summer. Will be hoping to hang twin 68's with air/water intercooler next summer/fall. I'll have to stick with running nitrous on my present engine - just a baby 408 iron block, with 225 AFR, cam motion cam, etc, etc.

All four are (or will be) using AEM engine management system. All will be using EFI with Edelbrock or GMGG intakes with T/B to match.

Next spring/summer should bring some great fun for the shop cars

Joey has really come into his own on fabrication and tuning turbos. We'll post more progress pictures.

David
