600+ rwhp on average?????? Does anyone understand why the people in the corvetteforum.com forced induction area are making over 600rwp with there blower and H/C packages. Are they using somekind of magical dyno or special cam?
I thought my sigs (531/502)were impressive with the H/C and blower setup I have. But some of these guys are running the same setup as me but the RWHP numbers are over 80+ mine on average????? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
Some of these cars are coming from Morgan Motorsport. Is it some special tune.

My goal now is to get to 580rwhp and 550rwtq. Any suggestions on how to get there. Iam currently boosting 9lbs, LS6 Heads, GWP cam, TPIS headers, 42lbs SVO injectors, areomotive inline pump, ect...

Re: 600+ rwhp on average?????? I think it has A LOT to do with how MMS does their tuning. They are able to make some huge numbers from their ATI D-1SC packages. I am hoping for a very big number from their S/C 427...

Re: 600+ rwhp on average?????? I think the C5 guys are really taking the time to get a good tune dialed in. Also they aren't afraid to run more timing as long as they aren't seeing detonation. The C5 fuel system seems to be slightly different also and seems to support more HP.
There seem to be wayy too many for it to be a fluke. We're seeing this on dyno's outside MMS too.

Have you gotten the NOS installed on your car yet?
I have a C5 so my fuel system is the same as all the Z06 MMS guys. I even have Z06 ported heads?
Iam wondering now If I have a couple more ponies hiding behind my tuning. But I would rather be safe than sorry. It gets really hot hear in the summer time and with a real agressive tune I know I will not have an engine by the end of the summer. To tell you the truth I dont even like flooring my car when the outside temp is over 80 degrees. I love winter it brings out the beast in my car.

You drive north into Broward on occasion? Gotta love the roads down here. Plan to run 2 or 3 different programs due to our weather. LS1Edit is a must.
Hope my setup comes out good too.

If you see me driving give me a beep and wave. I will be on the look out for a screammin yellow vette as well. I know there is yellow vette here in miami I have seen with HRE rims and ported head's with a 150 shot of NOS. Is that you?
If you catch me I will probably be cruising up and down I95. I recently moved to North Miami Beach so Iam constanty driving to Miami and back.

Lotsa bloody tourists right now. No parking on Ocean. I normally head down just for the drive. The turnpike is great on the way back North.

Re: 600+ rwhp on average?????? How high is the timing you guys are using above 4000 RPMs. I have my timing flat at 19 degrees all the way to redline. I believe this is conservative. How high do you think the MMS tuning is running 25-26?

Re: 600+ rwhp on average?????? I'd bet the 600rwhp C5's are running 22-25*. I'll have more programming info in 3-4 weeks as I use LS1Edit on mine. But my goals are lower than that.
U could poke around the corvetteforum FI section. I think Andy @ A&A Corvettes could answer your question.
I know a Z06 S-Trim was putting out crazy TQ and hitting 600rwhp, stock with headers, 10psi. They tuned it down safer for the street to about 550 by lowering the timing.

I dont have a working relationship with Andy or have I ever bought a part from him. I recently herd about Andy. It looks like he really knows allot about the C5 and I have seen allot of bad *** cars comeout of his shop. But I dont know how he would feel giving timing information to a first time caller. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
