Default Design on FMIC... HELP!

Hey ya'll... i just put a griffin FMIC I/C on my 00 ws6. I feel the design could be a bit better? for the inlets and outlets should their be a angled inlet/ outlet? Mine is just a regular rectangle. What would be the best, most efficient, design for a FMIC on my car? How do ya'll have your FMIC setup/ design? Any and all help is appreciated.

The air intake temps are only 6-8 degrees above ambient, according to w2w. I just feel my design could be better thats all. I looked at both websites, and synergy's too. I guess everyone else is running the same design that im running. I just spent a lot of money to have this FMIC installed and i only picked up 3-4tenths at 9lbs of boost. What belt drive on a D1 or F1 should i run to crank the boost up to, say, 15-18psi? would a 8rib with a spring loaded valve tensioner work? Thanks for your help guys

I have a Griffin FMIC, and am very happy with it. Have put 17-21psi thru it.

A design like that may cause some extra psi loss, but it will be pretty minimal. Personally I don't like that design, but I have seen a lot of really fast cars with the same design, so it can't be that bad. I just wonder what they would run with a better end tank design? With as big of turbo's as they run, a couple extra psi loss probably doesn't matter to them.
