He said my old computer had been found and so had the system. The box was trashed and they are looking over the system to make sure it is in good shape.

Why did it take a week for him to get up and find my packages? I don't care how busy you are, that is nuts on a $6,500.00 item. Hire some more employee's if you can't find the time.

My intuition tells me that the package will not be here this weekend as promised. I believe it is another delay, another excuse, etc. Kenny, I will hold you to your word and expect delivery on Sat. Otherwise ill go ahead with my plans to notify the credit card company.

frcefed98: If my programming is off or my kit is missing parts, I will know (friend who works for GM and knows about FI). In the end, that will just give me even more to work with.

QuickSilver2002: Sorry did not mean to leave you out. Thanks for the link to the FTC. The only way I could make that work is with the Mail or Telephone Order Rule. The FBCA would not work as I do not live within 100 miles of him.

Sincerely
Badz2801

I heard that GWP is moving to a smaller shop just a little North close to Dartmouth and Santa Fe in Denver. I assume they're moving to a smaller shop since the rent would be cheaper. Just thought you might want to know if their phones go dead for one day, this might be the reason. Keep us updated on the status. I'm sure Kenny will come through eventually.

BTW- If you need someone close to GWP to do something (like pick up a package and ship it, or go verify something) I will do it. My home # is 303-683-6673. Email is k5shawn@yahoo.com.

To all the members of this board, these are the facts as explained/known to me.

1. In late November/ early December I paid in full for a supercharger system from Kenny.
2. The system was first promised to me in around the 30th of December. I was on my winter break from college and went to the Bahamas. I was told that the system and computer would be on my door step when I got home. Well you know how that went.
3. I called Kenny and asked why it was not here? I was told that ATI (procharger) was backed up on orders due to Christmas and that mine was finally on a build sheet. I was told it should be there ASAP.
4. I did not show. I called Kenny, again. I asked why it was not there and was told that he had delays with his bank account and transferring funds. Something about banks taking a week to transfer funds. (That was BS, I knew that as I work online and have numerous transactions with banks.) He said it should arrive five days before my winter break ended. It did not show.
5. I again called Kenny. Was told to wait another week and it would be there. My break ended and it was not there.
6. I called Kenny again (notice a trend in who called). This time I was told that the manufacturer of the pump and controller were still building them. Yeah just like ATI was too. It would be shipped as soon as that was ready (he wanted everything together). Note: ALL ATI systems from GWP are sent from ATI! Kenny just puts the few extra pieces together.
7. The same process of my calling Kenny was repeated for weeks, asking what was wrong and when it would be ready. After enough time had passed, a new excuse was used (I have lost track of a few). This was the month of January.
8. Finally, in February I started getting very fed up. I called all the time and was a constant nag to this man. My mom has a log with every date and occurrence of this during that period. Kenny would even act surprised that it was not there.
9. Finally the controller + pump came in, however that was at the most 3 weeks ago.
10. The next excuse was that he shipped them from FedEx they should be there ASAP. (One very pissed off customer.) They never showed. I asked for tracking numbers. I never got them.
11. After that he told me the snow had swamped the packages and that they had been sent back to him. (sure)
He would overnight them to me and they would be there ASAP. They never showed. Countless promise dates and again he game me his word they would be there. Asked for tracking numbers again, none.
12. I called and was told that the packages were lost by FedEx. He said he would have his guy from FedEx call me. Kenny would also call me back ASAP. Kenny called maybe 5 times throughout this whole thing. Needless to say he did not call and I called him.
13. I let him have it at this point (verbally). I asked for his contact’s name, he refused to give it to me. He never denied any of the accusations I made at him either just switched the subject. Usually to the: do you know how hard this is line?
14. At this point I wrote the letter on the board. That got that mans attention.
15. He offered me a new computer and a new system that he would have shipped out from ATI and I would have it by Saturday. Knew that was too good to be true (BS)
16. Then I was told that he found the package(s) ***notice the plural use of this word*** and was looking over it to make sure it was ok. He then said he was not sure if it would be there by Sat.
17. I have done a lot of running around, posting, calls, and lawyers.
18. Finally, I hit the jackpot, I called ATI. That did the trick. The kit was NEVER shipped! (ever!) No its not here but I have been assured it would be via overnight freight(note: Kenny is supposed to pay for the shipping). My computer was the box lost by FedEx (If it was shipped).

OK Lets recap here:

Excuse 1: ATI was backed up.
Excuse 2: Next it was the banks.
Excuse 3: Next it was the pump + controller
Excuse 4. The general crisis excuse I forgot to add above. There are more, I just cant remember them all.
Excuse 5: Snow had kept them from being shipped twice!.
Excuse 6: The packages were lost.
Excuse 7: I am moving (forgot that one too.)
Excuse 8: I am not sure they will be there on time sat.

Lie 1: ATI was backed up on orders. (verified)
Lie 2: That the system was in fact purchased, built and in his possession. (to get all of it together, verified.)
Lie 3. That the system (verified) + PCM (not sure) had ever been shipped.
Lie 4: That Aeromotive was backed up on fuel pumps and controllers. (almost verified no hard copy yet)
Lie 5: That he ever had any intension of calling me back (my opinion)
Lie 6: That the system was ever shipped and snow did not delay the system (verified)
Lie 7: Tracking numbers (verified)
Lie 8: Unknown b/c I am probably forgetting one.
Lie 9: The banks were slow. (verified)

Accusations I made not denied or not clearly denied the NAWWW way excuse.

1. He used my money to get himself out of financial trouble.

Ok well, to make a long story short, I have been told by ATI it is supposed to be on my doorstep Sat. The person I spoke to, was very helpful and took care of business. Kudos to ATI! The system is being shipped from ATI overnight freight on Kenny’s $. My computer(no word on the condition of that sucker) + injectors + fuel lines etc, is supposed to be there as well. My question to Kenny now is how do you propose to compensate me for all of this? The overnight freight is just so he does not get the credit card companies involved.

1. Maybe he can answer these questions for me too. Why should I not do the following:

1. Sue GWP civilly.
2. File complaints with the BBB.
3. File complaints with the Consumer protection agency in Colorado.
4. Persuade the authorities to prosecute you for fraud for sale under false pretense/commercial theft.
5. Make it known to everyone that will listen about the business practices of GWP.
6. File complaint with the FTC under the Mail or Telephone Order Rule.

Who else on these boards have also been cheated/mislead/used/manipulated/lied too by GWP. What would you like to see me do?
Please do not post replies that contain anything illegal they will be ignored.

Oh yes might I add, Kenny did not pioneer the design of this system (verified).

Sincerely
Badz2801

I knew it was still at ATI waiting to be paid for, glad Ken Jones could help you out. Kinda sucks when people don't keep their word and worse when they swipe your $$ to use for something else.

Hey bad,

You obviously have quite a few legal opptions at your disposal to make this situation right. I'm not even gonna get into that, as it's a choice you have to make. But I will say that I appreciate your and other emembers chiming in on their negative experience with a known reseller. As I'll be in the market for heads and cam within a years time, I can tell you you've been very helpful in showing me which company to stay away from.

It's great to have a board like LS1Tech.com to give us a forum to help each other out. it's also good to have members like the ones in this thread who explain the difficulties they've had. I'm glad I went with TByrne and I'm glad I went with ATI. Those are two companies that seem much more concerned with keeping their customers happy.

Chill out man.

You're really coming off as a cry baby with your momma standin' there burping your ***.

GWP is slow. News flash - They are all slow! Lingenfelter took twice as long to complete my first 383 as they said it would take. And, I see on these threads that turbos have taken forever as well. Heck, my blower went in fast, but every time I need some part, it takes time. So chill out.

For what it's worth, I was with Kenny when he dropped off your PCM at FedEx today. So chill on that one. And, I was with him when he got the ATI order straightened out. So chill on that one too. You already got the rest of the stuff, so chill out all around.

You're bashing Kenny like he is a bad guy. He is not. He is actually one of the nicest guys I know. He maybe slow to get stuff out, but don't be a butt about it. If you don't want to buy from GWP then don't. But a lot of guys, me included, put up with the misc BS because Kenny is VERY good at making power. So it takes a few months to get the order delivered - who gives a $hit? You want KMart, go to KMart. You want power, put up with the misc BS.

Take a chill pill and have your momma burp you again before she puts you to bed.

CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. Do not let this hit six months. THEY ARE ON YOUR SIDE.

Call them now, even if he says it shipped, and when you have the items, call them and tell them so.

If you wait too long you will have no recourse with them.

How many times does it need to be said?

Dont you think some of us have disputed charges before?

Many of us have spent WAY more and waited until thinbs were right to get the RIGHT parts for the RIGHT results!

And he ordered his kit in December. That's three months, not five. This was over the time of year with the most holidays back to back and several snow and ice storms have hit areas of the country not used to operating with those conditions. This affects shipping even further.

This is more than just a basic kit sitting on the shelf, here. It took MOST of us two to four months to aquire a system designed to get a car in the low-11's.

I say he is being irresponsible and unreasonable.
YES, Hammer... he needs to chill. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

GWP FREAKING LIES, ITS NOT THE DELAYS THAT ARE THE PROBLEM. It really gets on my nerves to read these stupid posts that people make about how its not ok to get mad when your getting screwed in the butt by someone you paid 6grand too. If they would be upfront and not lie to their customers, maybe it wouldnt be so bad. NO ONE NEEDS TO CHILL HERE. He has every right to be mad. Dont try and take that away from him.

Either way, I think what is happening to him is wrong. I remember a similar thing happened to me over a set of headers.. No one else had them in stock, but one shop (Muscle Motors) said that they had them and could ship that day. They did not. They charged my card and took 10 days to ship them.

I can be the most patient person as long as I am kept informed about what the progress is. Do not feed a person lies and expect them to remain patient

I bought the Stage II ATI system from GWP before I bought a motor.

I bought a rearend from GWP before I bought a motor.

None of us like to wait, but I waited without defaming anyone. Kenny has delivered every kit he was paid for. He's lost money to make stuff work when other people wanted to mis-match what THEY wanted with what he knew would work.

People like that make you want to throw up your hands and go home. I wouldn't take your money. I'd refund your money and send your stuff back at my cost just to have you out of my hair.

I STILL say the biggest mistake Kenny could make it to do it for you now... you'll be back on the board complaining about how you blew your motor because you are too impatient to tune it right, and you'll blame him. Wait and see.

Or, maybe you'll grow up. Thre's always hope.

I've been following this thread for a while and have a few things to interject...

1) The guy paid for a product and was given a time-frame.
2) Product was not delivered within time-frame and guy tries to find out why.
3) Guy is lied to repeatedly and the product does not show up.
4) Guy goes looking for the truth and uncovers multiple lies.
5) Guy starts to get traction and may get parts that he paid for.

I have put up with more delays then almost anyone waiting for some of my stuff from Incon...which I eventually received. Some of what I was told regarding delays was lies, some of it wasn't.

Sometimes you need to wait for stuff, it happens...but when you are lied to and can substantiate the fact that you were lied to then things are a different.

Based on what was represented in this thread, it appears that Kenny lied to this guy...that is what is wrong. Waiting is one thing, being lied to about why you are waiting is another.

I am really kind of shocked that some people on here are supporting Kenny when the fact is that he probably lied to this guy. Is GWP even a sponsor here???

Scott
