Re: 404ci Agostino Racing Engine For Sale If that class does in fact happen, we will go back to an aluminum block (another rule we heard about, was that it would require a production engine available for that vehicle). Along with a T-74 turbo again, and LS1 Edit tuning.
The car went 6.30 with that basic setup before. And now with our new turbo kit, we have a larger crossover pipe, a 3" downpipe instead of the 2 1/2" I used to run, a much better intercooler, and 80lbs less on the nose of the car with the alum block. So I'm pretty confident that I can get the car to run 6.0ish with that combo tweaked.
But as I said, that all hinges on whether or not someone buys this engine. I'm going to give it a couple more weeks, and if it doesn't sell, we'll start thrashing on the car to get ready for the Southern Shootout. 404ci, T-88, FAST system...any guesses on what it'll run?
